Gettleman1
Jeffrey Gettleman, who won the Pulitzer Prize in 2012 for his reporting for The New York Times from Africa, with Joyce and Malcolm Gibson at the Thorntree at the Hotel Stanley in Nairobi on Oct. 24, 2013. In awarding the Pulitzer, the judges said it was for "his vivid reports, often at personal risk, on famine and conflict in East Africa, a neglected but increasingly strategic part of the world." Oh, and Malcolm once turned him down for an internship (but for good reason...and, hey, he did pretty well after all!).
